About this site

IMGTool2PDF is an independent collection of free browser tools for the file jobs that turn up constantly: converting, resizing, compressing, combining and printing. This page describes what it is, what it deliberately does not claim, and the rules the written content follows.

The short version

What it is, and what it is not

What it is

  • Fifty-five working tools for images, PDFs, documents and print preparation, plus workflows that chain them together.
  • Processing that happens in your browser on your own device — the files you open are not uploaded anywhere.
  • Guides, a glossary and a question-and-answer page written to support the same tasks the tools perform.

What it is not

  • Not an authority on passport, visa or form requirements — presets are common values, not official specifications.
  • Not a storage service: nothing is kept after a page closes, by design, so keep your own copies of anything that matters.
  • Not legal, financial or professional advice; documents are generated from the data you enter.

Principles

How decisions get made here

  • Files stay on your device

Tools read and write files in the browser. Nothing is sent to a server for processing, so there is no server-side copy to store, secure or hand over.

  • No accounts, no paywall

Every tool opens and runs without a sign-up, a login or a payment. The whole toolset is available on the first visit.

  • Honest limits

Where a browser cannot do something — HEIC input, some camera formats, huge files on a phone — the site says so rather than presenting a failure as a feature.

  • Examples are labelled as examples

Sizes, ratios and settings shown in the guides and tools are illustrative. Where a requirement is official, confirm it with the authority that issues it.

  • No invented trust signals

There are no fake reviews, no fabricated ratings, no made-up statistics and no invented team. If something is not verifiable, it is not claimed.

Funding

How the site is paid for

The tools are free to use and no account is required. The site is designed to be sustainable through clearly labelled advertising, placed away from the controls you interact with.

Advertising never affects how a tool behaves, what a tool produces or what the written content says. When advertising is shown, it is identified as such, and the Cookie & Advertising Notice explains what is loaded.

Editorial

Rules the written content follows

Guides, glossary entries and answers are written for a specific task a reader already has — not to fill a topic. Each one names the tools it uses, so nothing is written about capability the site does not have.

Numbers that illustrate a point are marked as examples. Where an official specification exists, the correct move is to check it with the body that publishes it, and the content says exactly that rather than paraphrasing a requirement it cannot verify.

Trust

Where the trust facts live

Claims about behaviour are only worth something if they can be checked. The Contact & Trust page states what you can rely on and what you cannot, and the policies spell out how the site handles data, cookies and advertising.
