Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use IMGTool2PDF's free, browser-based tools.
Acceptance of these terms
By using IMGTool2PDF, which we also call the site in these terms, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the site. These terms apply to everyone who uses the site, from any country.
What the site provides
IMGTool2PDF offers free, browser-based tools for working with images, PDFs and documents — converting, merging, compressing, resizing and similar tasks. All processing happens in your browser on your own device. No account, no registration and no payment are required to use any tool.
Not professional, legal or official advice
- Word templates such as contracts, proposals and quotations are provided as general-purpose starting points, not as legal, financial or professional advice. You are responsible for having any document you produce reviewed by an appropriate professional before relying on it.
- Photo sizes, ID-sheet layouts, print presets and similar references reflect commonly used sizes and are not official specifications. Always confirm the exact requirements with the relevant official authority before submitting anything.
- Tools that read text from PDFs report only the selectable text that is actually present; they do not perform optical character recognition, and they honestly report pages they cannot read.
- The outputs of the site are best-effort. Verify results before using them for any official, legal or business purpose.
Your responsibility for files you process
You are responsible for the files you choose to process and for making sure you have the right to use them. Please do not process files you do not have permission to use, including documents, photos or data that belong to someone else.
If you process personal or sensitive information of other people, you remain responsible for complying with any laws that apply to you. Because files are processed on your own device, this site does not hold, transmit or store their contents.
Always keep your own backups of important files. Closing the page or your browser discards the in-memory working files, which cannot be recovered by the site.
Acceptable use
You must not use the site to do anything unlawful, to infringe the rights of others (including copyright), to attempt to disrupt or interfere with the site, or to attempt to access the site in an automated way that is abusive to its free infrastructure.
The site's operation and availability
The site is operated as a free, volunteer-built project and is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. Tools may change, become unavailable, or produce unexpected results, including during development and on different browsers and devices. We do not guarantee that the site or any tool will be uninterrupted, error-free or that outputs will always be perfect.
No warranties and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the law that applies to your use of the site, the site is provided without warranties of any kind — express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its outputs — including loss of files, inaccuracies in generated documents, or issues caused by third-party content. Consumer-protection laws in your country always continue to apply and are not excluded.
Intellectual property
The design, text and code of the site belong to its operator. Files that you process remain your own. The site uses open-source libraries (including pdf-lib, fflate, pdf.js and Next.js), which remain licensed to their respective owners under their own open-source licences.
Advertising
The site does not display advertising today. If third-party advertising is enabled in the future, the ads shown are provided and controlled by the advertising partners and their content and behaviour are their own responsibility. See the Cookie & Advertising Notice for how advertising would affect your data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always appears on this page, with the effective date shown above. If you continue to use the site after the terms change, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws that apply to your use of the site, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection law that applies in the country where you access the site.
Contact
IMGTool2PDF has no account system and does not collect contact details, so no dedicated support email or office is published. The Contact & Trust page explains how to get help and what to try when a tool does not behave.
