The details

How it works and what to expect

How it works

  1. Add the images you want to print (scans, documents, photos).
  2. Pick a paper, orientation, grid, margins, gaps and how each image fits its cell.
  3. Click Create print sheets and download the PDF — one page per sheet.
  4. Print with your normal print dialog once the PDF is open.

Limits

  • Each image is placed on one cell; a 2 × 2 grid holds four images per page.
  • More images than cells flow onto the next sheet automatically.
  • Grid sizes up to 6 × 6 per page are supported.

Privacy

A4 print sheets run entirely in your browser. Your scans and documents are never uploaded — the sheet PDF is created on this device and nothing is transferred over the network.

Practical guidance

Using this tool well

When it is the right answer, what tends to go wrong, and what to check before you rely on the result.

Why use it

Printing several photos or scans per sheet is the cheapest way to produce paper copies — for ID photos, proof sheets or handouts — while keeping each item at a size you chose.

Typical situations

  • You need multiple copies of one photo on a single A4 sheet.
  • Several document scans should print together to save paper.
  • A proof sheet of images is needed before a larger print run.

Common problems

  • Printed images are smaller than expected

More copies per sheet means each is smaller. Reduce the copies per sheet, or use a layout tool with exact millimetre sizing when the dimension matters.

  • The sheet scaled during printing

Print at 100% scale. Fit-to-page changes the output size silently.

  • Mixed aspect ratios leave gaps

Images of different shapes cannot fill identical cells without distortion. Gaps are the honest result.

Check before you submit

  1. Print one sheet and measure a copy if size matters.
  2. Confirm the page size matches the paper loaded.
  3. Check nothing is clipped at the sheet edges.
