How it works
- Draw your signature on the pad with a mouse, stylus or finger — or switch to Type for a cursive style.
- Pick an ink colour from the presets.
- Export a transparent PNG, cropped to your signature.
Use it anywhere
The exported PNG drops straight into the Sign PDF tool, or any document editor of your choice.
Privacy
Your signature never leaves this device — every pixel is drawn and exported locally.
Practical guidance
Using this tool well
When it is the right answer, what tends to go wrong, and what to check before you rely on the result.
Why use it
A reusable transparent PNG of your signature is the piece every signing workflow needs first: drawn once, then placed on forms, PDFs and documents without re-signing each time.
Typical situations
- You need a signature image for online forms that accept uploads.
- You want the same signature placed on several documents.
- A drawn signature looks more natural than a typed name.
Common problems
The exported PNG lost transparency
Keep PNG output. JPEG fills the empty area with white and ruins the effect over text.
It looks pixelated when enlarged
Sign at a comfortable size on screen rather than drawing small — a small drawing scaled up is soft everywhere.
The signature is too dark or too light
Redraw it; the tool exports what you produce, so contrast comes from the stroke you make.
Check before you submit
- Place the PNG over a document and confirm the background is transparent.
- Check it reads clearly at the size it will actually be used.
- Store the exported file somewhere you can find it again.
